Herb Garden

Picture

The herb garden at the historic Henry Breeding Farm was started in Spring 2017.  It is located on the property near a one room log cabin, giving an "old time" ambiance to the garden area.

Extension Master Gardeners created the layout for the herb garden.  The use of cedar borders around the herb beds help define the garden space and make the beds easy to maintain.

The beds contain medicinal herbs, culinary herbs, herbs for tea, fragrant herbs and a bed of chives - both garlic and onion.

Our goal for the Herb Garden is to provide education to visitors about growing and using herbs.
