Breeding Farm Gardens Watering Schedule

Picture
SCIMGA Extension Master Gardeners maintain gardens at the historic Breeding Farm near Edinburgh, IN.  We would like to spread the effort of keeping the gardens watered to more people and prevent duplication of effort, too, by asking members to sign up for days they can water the gardens (see Sign up to Water the Gardens form below).  A walk-through of the watering process can be arranged for members who have the desire to help but haven't seen the sprinklers in action.  Just leave a comment in the fillable form below.  Watering can be done any day of the week, at your convenience.  Here is a list of the watering systems:
  1. Large Garden Area Near Cabin - Hose/Sprinkler shared by Herb, Native, Milkweed and Everlasting Gardens.
  2. East Side of House - Hose available to water gardens near hose outlet and in front of the house.
  3. West Side of House - Hose available in Cutting Garden for watering this garden/other gardens on the west side.
  4. Wood Fence South of Barn - A hose is available for watering this garden.
  5. Raised Bed Perennial Garden - Hose available for hand watering/drip irrigation system. See Perennial Garden Watering InfoGraphic below.
