GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS

Picture

Grant applications that were funded in 2025 included helping start a community garden at Prince's Lake, a Sensory & Raised Bed garden at the Columbus Animal Care Shelter, and supporting the Calvary Church Garden of Eden

The Grant application also includes an option for the applicant to ask for Master Gardener consults.  Grant reports have the option of site visits to the project; these visits are open to the SCIMGA membership, allowing the grant recipient to share successes and challenges and identify opportunities for educational programming.

Grants & Scholarships

The SCIMGA Gives committee oversees our Grants and Scholarships program.

The scholarship program is for students seeking degrees or certificates in horticulture and related disciplines.

The grants program is for organizations that are implementing sustainable horticulture and related projects in our communities.
